One of a series of pins given to California area travel agents to encourage them to push special Disneyland promotions. This particular promotion ran January 6, 2009 through April 30, 2009.
Goofy (left facing right) is next to Pluto (right, body facing left but head turned right) on this colorful purple background pin with a large purple banner at the bottom with "WHAT WILL YOU CELEBRATE?" in white letters. Behind the duo are Mickey Mouse head balloons, small stars and confetti - all in colors of red, light blue and orange.
The pin measures 1 3/8" (36 mm) wide by 1 1/2" (38 mm) tall. The reverse has a single post with Mickey back, and reads, "© DISNEY, China."
The pin originally came on an advertorial card that read, "everyone plays for the kid's price,"
Everyone's a kid again at the Disneyland Resort! Because, from January 6 through April 30, 2009, when your clients purchase a 3-Day or longer Disneyland Resort Park Hopper Bonus Ticket, they'll pay the kid's price! Encourage your clients to bring the whole family and experience all the magic of both Theme Parks!"
