Front Description
The Disney's Artist Choice collection contains four pins celebrating several "firsts" for The Walt Disney Company. Designed by Disney Design Group Artists, each pin contains multiple pin-on-pin elements and the "Charter Year" stamp for the D23|expo 2009. Each pin will have an edition size of 1500.
Created by Disney Design Group Artist Alex Maher, this limited edition pin commemorates the premiere of "Steamboat Willie," the first synchronized sound cartoon, on November 18, 1928. The pin features a recording session as Walt Disney prepares to read his lines for this classic animated short. The microphone is highlighted in sculpted metal.
This pin will be released during the D23 expo at the Anaheim Convention Center.
This pin may vary in color due to the epoxy dome coating.
