He is wearing blue/green shorts and a yellow shirt and he is bare foot.
Goofy is one of three pins that were sent early in 2009 to California travel agents to encourage them to push a special Buy 3 Nights, Get 2 Free promotion for bookings March 24, 2009 through September 26, 2009. The pin came sealed and on a special advertorial 3x5 card.
Goofy, facing left, is dressed in yellow sleeveless undershirt and light blue with light green trim shorts. In his right hand (which crosses his chest), he holds a yellow and orange Frisbee or disk he appears ready to throw. Goofy is barefoot.
The pin measures 1 1/2" (38 mm) tall by 1 1/4" (32 mm) wide. The reverse has the 2009 Official Pin Trading logo, plus "© DISNEY, China."
There are two other pins in this series: Donald with Surfboard and Mickey & Minnie with Sand Castle.
Authentic pins can easily be identified if the accompanying two-sided 3x5 card is with it. The card reads, on front, "Get 2 More Days & Nights FREE! (When your clients buy 3 days/nights). Right now, your clients can enjoy 5-Days/Nights of Disneyland Resort summer fun including accommodations at one of the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort and Park Hopper Bonus Tickets for the price of 3-Days/Nights!" Be aware that as of Sept. 2009, this pin is being offered for sale to individuals directly from Beijing and as such there are unauthorized versions of this pin in circulation. Goofy's left hand is not completely filled with enamel. The fingers are filled, but the enamel kind of 'slopes down' to an empty spot in the palm of the hand.
