Front Description
This pin was released to commemorate the 2009 Cast Canoe Races, which take place every year at Disneyland Resort DLR around the Rivers of America.
This pin is done in light gold metal and features what appears to be an Enchanted Tiki Room God / Icon / Doll / Totem mask. The mask is done in greens, light grey, dark red, and orange. The base of the pin is a pale flesh or tan colour. The mask seems to be smiling in an open mouth grin. There is a string of dark orange beads hanging around its neck. Below the mask in orange/brown lettering is 'CANOE RACES' it's made to look like the letters are made of wood. Below that are two dark brown crossed canoe paddles/oars. There is a gold metal flower on the left paddle/oar, and '2009' written on the right side. Just beneath the center of the oars says, in fine gold print, 'Disneyland Resort'. 'Resort' is in smaller lettering just underneath 'Disneyland'.
Back of the pin features one pin post at the center of the pin and a fine waffle pattern. This pin does NOT have the official pin trading logo. Just beneath the pin post in a box of shiny metal reads:
