Front Description
One of four VILLAINS pins originally released in 1998 and then featured as part of the WDW Millennium Celebration pins released in late 1999. This version (backstamp) was sold until it was re-ordered with the 2000 Hand in Hand logo on the back. Each of the pins features a different Disney villain portrait inside an ornate, antique-bronze frame which resembles the Magic Mirror from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". The top of the pin was coated with epoxy, which has yellowed with age. Characters in the series include the Old Hag, Maleficent, Chernabog, and Captain Hook. This pin was sold at DLR on a Disney Designs card, with this backstamp, through 2000.
This pin features MALEFICENT, from Disney's animated SLEEPING BEAUTY, holding her scepter. The background is green.
