This pin set was to commemorate the opening of Animal Kingdom. There are 13 pins, which fit together like puzzle pieces to show a complete image of the Tree of Life. 5 pins make up the branches at the top, while 5 pins make up the trunk with the animal carvings. The remaining 3 pins are the grass beneath the Tree. This limited edition enamel pin set commemorates the inauguration of Disney's Animal Kingdom, April 22, 1998. Text has the Animal Kingdom "seal" as a watermark behind it. No Edition size given. These pins are enamel painted, with gold metal lines and a clear-coat and not cloisonne. A member reports this set was sold in a teak and gilt frame for $100.00.
