Front Description
This is the Maleficent pin only from set #73670. Admire the elegance of our evildoers in the Portrait Disney Villains Pin Set. Six of Disney's favorite foes are captured in all their wicked splendor in this artistic, Art Nouveau-style collection. SIZE (in inches): 2.5 H x 1.625 W Gold-finished. Two posts, aligned vertically on the center back of the pin. Top post is 0.375 inches down from the top of the pin. Bottom post is 0.375 inches up from the bottom of the pin.
Sparkle-glitter element is the burnt-orangish square behind the top half of the pin that can only be partially seen. Largest portion is the semi-circle containing Maleficent's name. The four smaller areas are seen behind the black/olive-green circle surrounding Maleficent's name.
At first glance, the sparkle-glitter looks to be two different shades, with the four corner pieces being a darker shade. But this is just an illusion caused by light reflecting of the much larger piece of sparkle-glitter containing Maleficent's name.
Maleficent is shown here facing left, head slightly bent down, holding her staff in her left hand. Diablo is on her right shoulder, facing right, looking behind her. Maleficent can be seen in her dragon persona (head only) on the left and right near the top of the grey background that extends on the lower half of the pin. Silouette's of her tower are in lower right and left corners of the pin.
