The WDW 2009 SCOOP AND FRIENDS pin-of-the-month collection features Mickey Mouse dressed as Scoop Sanderson, Gazette Reporter and pin-trading Ambassador Extraordinaire, with different Disney characters dressed as Scoop's Main Street USA friends. Each shaped pin features Mickey and Friend(s) in front of a different Magic Kingdom Main Street building. You can tell it's Scoop (and not just one of the Dapper Dans), because he's wearing his iconic plaid suit with the Press Pass in his hatband! Alex Maher of the Disney Design Group created the original artwork for this collection.
Released in December, this pin features Scoop (pin-on-pin element) swinging from the end of the Main Street trolley while it's parked (sans horse). Everything is decorated for Christmas, including Mickey. He's wearing the costume that Scoop wore when he emceed the Christmas Tree Lighting event at Magic Kingdom. Very formal, top hat and all!
