Front Description
This pin represents the logo that was the name of Walt's backyard railroad and was emblazoned on every one of Walt's railroad cars. The railroad ran from 1950 to 1953. Released by the Carolwood Pacific Historical Society, the pin mirrors the design of both the society membership and the Lillie Belle(named for Lillian Bounds Disney, Walt's wife) pins with the exception of being twice as large. This pin has two horizontal stakes instead of the one stake found on the smaller pins.
This gold-finished, waffle textured-back pin measures 1 1/4" tall by 1 1/2" wide. It is backstamped, "Walt Disney Family Foundation(TM)-Carolwood Pacific RR-1st Edition of 500-China".
