Japan DS Resort Celebrating its First Anniversary!! In celebration of the First Anniversary of the Japan DS Resort, many new pins were released. The First Set of 10 Pins is a "puzzle" set, that are placed on a "map."
Were these sold individually or in a set? Yes and yes, apparently. The 10 pins were sold individually, with a card for all of them to fit on. As the time for the release approached, many people wanted these sets to a point where people were waiting overnight in the stores' parking lots to get them. At the Resort Shop, Cast Members decided to create sets with all 10 pins on them (as pictured above) to speed transactions; those sets were sold out by mid-morning, with people limited to one set per transaction.
There are pins of Tinker Bell, Chip and Dale, Dumbo, Goofy, Daisy Duck, Donald Duck, Pluto, Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse.
