Front Description
Although this pin is marked WDW on the back, the source I got it from says it is a Disneyland Paris pin. I find it unlikely that a DLRP pin would be marked WDW, so I think it is of questionable origin until someone else can verify the source. My understanding is that at this point neither WDW nor DLRP cast members recognize this pin as their release.
The backstamp (sand finish, no Mickey head backs stamped on the metal) reads:
Limited Edition (no size listed)
Walt Disney World Resort
(c) Disney
and it has the 2009 pin trading logo on it
Pin features Alice leaning her chin on her hands. The Cheshire Cat is hiding in the pink area behind her. She is surrounded by a frame with a heart on top.
The pin seems to have a smooth clear coating over the top so you cannot feel the grooves where the metal and paint/enamel meet.
Does anyone have any further information on this pin? When and where exactly was it released? Thanks for any help/information.
