Front Description
This pin might have been sold as a tie tac, because the pin post backer is of the spring loaded kind that is used on tie tacs. It depicts Sleeping Beauty's Castle in an antique brass finish with smooth surfaces in the design. The bottom of the pin has a banner with the words, "Disneyland (c) Resort" imprinted into the metal in black letters. It is made of cast metal in a three dimesional design with flags flying from the turrets. It measures 7/8" from top to bottom and approx. 5/8" at the widest width of the banner.
This pin is similar in design to #74912, except that it is not gold in finish and does not have the number "50" on the castle door.
The back of the pin has a mini-square waffle pattern with one pin post and two sub-posts on either side. The pin post cover is a bright gold bell shaped, spring loaded, of a push/pull type used on tie tacs. At the bottom is a rectangle with the words "(c)Disney China"
This pin was on clearance at Company D in Anaheim and the CM selling it had no information about its release date, sku#, or original price, or what its original purpose was. Anyone with more info about this pin, please post it in additional information.
