This service award, a companion to both Pinpics 19110 and 42109 was given to employees of the Disneyland Hotel after they completed 10 years of service.
It should be noted that while the hotel did bear the name "Disneyland Hotel", it was essentially similar to the "Official Partner Hotels" at the Walt Disney World Resort. It was built and owned by Texas oil wildcatter Jack Wrather from it's opening in October of 1955 until its purchase by the Walt Disney Company in 1988. It was during this time period it is believed that these types of service pins were awarded.
