One of nine KIDS' CLUB AWARDS open-edition pins released at Disneyland on 16 Aug 2001, to be used with the MICKEY'S AWARDS CLUB "Game Card and Completer Pin" set available to park guests for $10.50. The nine open-edition pins needed to fill in the white circles on the card were sold individually for $6.50/each. They were meant to be bought by parents and used later as awards, when the child had worked to deserve the pin. (Like a Boy Scout badge.) The game card and completer pin were only available at Disneyland, but eight of the nine OE pins needed to fill in the card had been released the week before at the WDW Pin Celebration PINS AROUND OUR WORLD event at EPCOT. The Best Reader pin is the only one that's different between the parks: DL (Donald) and WDW (Pooh). The OE pins came on a black pin card that said "Kids' Award Pin".
This is the CLEAN ROOM CLUB pin. It features a smiling Mickey Mouse holding a broom behind his back, his extra pair of shorts on a hanger behind him. On the trash can to the right is a gold outline of a Hidden Mickey. The purple border around the pin reads CLEAN ROOM CLUB at the top and OFFICIAL MEMBER at the bottom, the two phrases separated by three stars on each side.
Awards include Best Behavior, Clean Room, Best Reader, Clean Plate, Super Student, Tooth Brushing, Good Manners, Helping Hand, and Good Sport.
