Front Description
Two pin set presented on a 5 inch by 5 inch printed card stock with a message from Diane Disney Miller. The message reads:
My Dad's love of trains is well known, and is shared by millions of people around the world. The trains of Disneyland have brought delight and a sense of wonderful adventure to all who have visited "this happy place". We so respect and admire all whose skill and dedication have kept these giants running and looking so gorgeous...And the engineer is still every child's here!
The antique looking imprint on the card stock shows Walt Disney and Ward Kimball among a couple of the train engines. The card is copyrighted WDFF.
Two pins come on the card. Both pins are gold waffle back, black enamel on front with gold print. The backstamps read copyright WDFF Limited Edition 250 China.
The first pin is round and reads WED LOCOMOTIVE WORKS, ANAHEIM, CALIF., RETLAW & Co. No. 1 1955.
The second pin is rectangular with scooped corners and reads WED LOCOMOTIVE WORKS, No. 2 1955, W.E. Disney, Pres., R. E. Broggie. Gen. Mgr.
Purchased during a recent NFFC sale from Carolwood Historical Society representative.
