The designer(s) of these pins clearly loved the AiW characters, for the images of them are very accurate. The design is innovative and fresh. These pins are simply gorgeous.
The background of each pin is two-toned, split on the diagonal. And in each section of the background there are sketches of the characters face in different sizes, each facing in a different direction, drawn in the color of the opposite background tone.
The muted tones of the background colors gives the impression that the character featured in front is actually a 3D element, but this is not the case. The character is just in front of the background, but the richer more vibrant colors of the center character gives the illusion that there is some space between the back of the character and the background. Each pin 2.5 inches square; diagonal measurement is 3.5 inches
