Front Description
The designer of this pin clearly loved the Dormouse character from AiW, for the images of Dormouse are very accurate. The Dormouse is shown on one of his trademarked poses, peaking out of the tea pot. Behind the Dormouse is a panel showing line sketches of his face.
The background panel of this pin is two-toned, split on the diagonal. And in each section of the background there are sketches of the Dormouse's face in different sizes, each facing in a different direction, drawn in the color of the opposite background tone.
The muted tones of the background colors gives the impression that the center Dormouse figure featured in front is actually a 3D element, but this is not the case. The center Dormouse figure is just in front of the background, but the richer more vibrant colors of this center figure gives the illusion that there is some space between the back of the character and the background.
