Front Description

Large lithographed tin sheet metal badge, star tips are embossed,rounded & dome shaped, 4-7/8 inches in diameter, six pointed western cowboy sheriff style star. Soldered wire (button style) clasp. Reads in very fine print, on front, above Mickey's head: 'COPYRIGHT WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS'. Brownish gold paint overall with wavy black outline, Reads: 'Special Deputy Mouseketeer' in the Mickey Mouse Club style pinkish circle surrounding Mickey's head with white face. No cowboy hat. The Mickey Mouse Club TV show cast wore similar badges on Talent Round-up Day with their costumes. According to Hake's this badge came with store bought 1950s Mouseketeer outfits by L. M. Eddie Mfg.
