Front Description
Baseball Batter Goofy is one of at least five pins in a series. The eccentrically-designed pins came mounted on a large black embossed sale card that states, "Handcrafted and Made in Germany, Authentic Austrian Crystals." Bully produced figurines, so it is likely figurines were converted and then sold by someone.
Goofy stands right. He is dressed in blue jeans, yellow t-shirt, red baseball cap, yellow socks and light brown shoes with white and black trim. He holds what appears to be a plastic frosted baseball bat as if he was ready to swing at a pitch. At the top of the pat there's a gold metal flower-shaped design.
Throughout his design are multi-colored jewels (advertised as Austrian crystals). They are found on Goofy's sleeve, shoes, ear, and most oddly at his stomach and downward onto his pants.
A gold straight back clasp is screwed onto the back. The pin measures 3" (77 mm) wide and tall. There are markings of each shoe bottom: "© 1988 THE WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS" and the number "2" and "BULLY, GERMANY, CE."
