Mickey's of Glendale has released this pin as a Special Events addition to its exclusive ongoing Sorcerer Hats Mystery Pin Collection series utilizing the sorcerer hat (a symbol for Walt Disney Imagineering) as a blank canvas for creative and unique designs that commemorate a special Disney event. This pin is sold on a green Special Events backer card and is therefore no mystery.
This pin is a commemorative of 55th Anniversary of the opening of Disneyland in Anaheim, CA and was released during an event at WDI's Mickey's of Glendale only to Cast Members and their guests.
This pin features a layout of the center of DLR from the Main Street Train depot to Sleeping Beauty's castle. In the middle is the Horse Draw Tolley and Fire Wagon followed by the hub below the Castle. Above the Castle is the Casey Jr. Circus Train. In the middle of the pin is the famous Disneyland "D."
The back of the pin has two posts on a gold Sorcerer Hat waffle pattern (the symbol of WDI). Between the posts is the following:
