“DS Expo” series are released from Japan DS (JDS) during 2010. The concept is to hold the Expo of fictitious in the JDS.
The Expo has some theme zone named as “Aqua”, “World food costumes”, “Earth heart to heart””, “Pooh’s Garden” and playing zone.
This pin comes from the theme zone of “World food (&) costumes”. I believe it is similar to World Showcase on WDW. There is 6 country in the original design figure, however only 4 pins were released; Japan, USA, France and Mexico.
This pin is dangle pin. At upper side (with pin), traditional food is designed. At lower side, you can see the National flag and our famous character wears their country’s traditional costumes.
The design for Mexico, you can see “tortilla chips” which shaped as Donald Duck’s footprint. Donald and Daisy Duck wears Mexican style costumes.
