Front Description

Released in November 2001, this is the Disney Store release of the patriotic American flag, Mickey-Mouse-icon pin to commemorate 9/11/01. Smaller than the flag head from the parks, less than one inch in height. Card denotes that the pin was "Made in USA".

 

This pin features the flag of the United States of America (USA). One-quarter of the pin is blue with seven gold, raised stars. Three-quarters is red and white stripes, four red, and three white. Instead of being flat and smooth, this soft-enamel pin has gold ridges where the outlines and stars are with more of a painted look. It has an epoxy coating which has yellowed with age.
