Mid Autumn Festival is a traditional Chinese festival which will be celebrate in Hong Kong and China each year. This pin was released to celebrate this Festival. The Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most charming and colourful annual events that celebrates, among other things, harvest time with the biggest and brightest moon of the year.
Shops sell coloured Chinese paper lanterns in the shapes of animals, and more recently, in the shapes of aeroplanes and space ships.
Mickey in front of the big moon, holding a lantern. The big moon is the whole background of the pin, it will glow in dark. Golden text "Hong Kong Disneyland" on the bottom of the pin. Mickey is holding a lanten in a shape of white rabbit, those lanterns were usually lit by candle and made with paper in the old days.
Playing lantern is a habit during mid autumn festival.
