Front Description
Pin for Epcot's World Showcase from the '80s. The pin is a circle divided into three sections, one each of red, white and blue. Images of the Eiffel Tower, a Venetian gondola and so forth are over laid in gold. Below it says "World Showcase."
The pin has a clasp back and measures 7/8" tall by 15/16" wide.
This pin was one of the "gifts" given out at WDW during its 15th Anniversary. Other pins given out at this time were #1226 and #569.
*NOTE*
These are epoxy pins from the 80's - they naturally yellow with age.
[17 Oct 2007 comment: This pin was also sold in EPCOT's early years. I bought this pin in 1984 on my first trip to EPCOT. I paid maybe $3.95 for the pin at that time. So, while it was a gift for the 15th anniversary, it was also at one time a pin that was for sale to the public.]
