Front Description
This exquisite jewelery-style pin of the Enchanted Rose features eight red petals attached to a sculpted gold stem and leaves. I acquired it when I saw the show during its national tour stop in Chicago in either late 2001 or late 2002 (I forget which). It came in a small white box with a gold sticker of the musical's logo on the front, "©Disney" being written on it near the Beast's collar. Appears to be similar to the pin in set #42740, however this did not come with earrings, and to the best of my recollection there were no earrings for sale separately at the souvenir stand. There is an enigmatic backstamp behind the right leaf of the stem: in a raised oval, it simply reads "DOWN". Any further information would be appreciated; the price is just my best guess based on near-decade-old memories, and I'm curious as to whether the pin only was sold during the show's run on Broadway.
