Front Description
The pin shows part of a film roll strip with a yellow star and a red Mickey Mouse face. It was issued for the opening of the Kodak Shop at Main Street USA in the Euro Disney Park. (Disneyland Paris) The pin is dated: April 8, 1992 - On the back: Design by Eastman Kodak, (c) Disney
This pin, as with many other Euro Disney sponser pins, was given out prior to the official opening of EuroDisney. During the two weeks prior to the April 12, 1992 opening, guests of the sponsers (such as Coca-Cola, Kodak, etc) were invited to visit the park and enjoy the attractions. These special days were usually accompanied by a ceremony with a small show dedicating the sponser's attraction. These pins were handed out to the guests and were never sold. This pin, for whatever reason, was one of the hardest to obtain at the time. I had to trade three Disney MGM Studios pins and something else (I can't remember what), to get this one.
