Front Description
This pin celebrates Dave Smith on his retirement from his leadership position as head of the Walt Disney Archives. The shape of the pin is obliques rectangle rimmed in silver with a green background. The left side or shorter end of the rectangle has the famous caracture drawing of Dave Smith in a brown jacket, balck pants and black tie, holding the original Donald Duck doll in his sailor suit, that is in the archives collection. To the right of him is Dave's signature in balck and silver over a large white number "40." Below the number, also in white letters, is the word "years," and below that is has "preserving the magic!" also in white letters.
On the back of the pin are two posts at the top horizontally. Centered is has the Official Walt Disney Archives Collection D23 logo, and blow that is has "LIMITED EDITION 500." At the bottom is has (c)Disney MADE IN CHINA.
