Front Description
This surprise Piece of Disney History pin features Kanik from the film Star Wars. Each pin contains an actual piece of the seat cushion from the Star Tours attraction.
Kaink, an Ewok, is sitting in a big chair with her seat belt on and her hands are holding on to the arm rest. The piece of the seat is in a recess between Kaink's feet and above the Star Tours logo.
This pin will be sold exclusively at the Sorcerer's Hat inside Disney's Hollywood Studios™.
This pin measures 1 3/4" tall and 1 1/8" wide.
The back is not stamped with any "Surprise Pin" information. The back is stamped with the 2011 Pin Trading Logo and three other stamped rectangles. The upper rectangle is stamped: “©DISNEY” over “CHINA”. The middle rectangle is stamped: “©2011 LUCASFILM LTD. & TM” over “LIMITED EDITION OF 1000”. And the lower rectangle is stamped “A Piece of Disney History II.”
This WDW surprise release pin is a companion pin of the DLR 2010's Star Tours Piece of History II series (Pinpics #81670) that was released on the same day. All the DLR POH2 pins came on a special backer card that described what the POH was on the pin. However, this WDW Star Tours Surprise Release Pin, came on a regular black cardboard backer card with no special information on the card other then it is a LIMITED EDITION.
