Mickey's of Glendale has released this pin as a Special Events addition to its exclusive ongoing Sorcerer Hats Mystery Pin Collection series utilizing the sorcerer hat (a symbol for Walt Disney Imagineering) as a blank canvas for creative and unique designs that commemorate a special Disney event. This pin is sold on a green Special Events backer card and is therefore no mystery.
This pin is a commemorative the 10th Anniversary of Disney's California Adventure. The pin was released at an event at WDI's Mickey of Glendale only to Cast Members and their guests.
The pin features Ariel, from the feature film The Little Mermaid. The background of the entire pin's hat format is a sparkling metallic blue. Ariel with her flowing red hair, green tail and purple top is floating in the middle of the pin with various size air bubbles rising to the top of the pin. Just below Ariel it has: Disney's California Adventure," with the word CALIFORNIA in yellow letters, and the other. Below that in the brim of the pin format it has: "10th Anniversary" in gold letters, with another air bubble to its right.
This pin sold out within 3 days.
The back of the pin has two posts on a gold Sorcerer Hat waffle pattern (the symbol of WDI). Between the posts is the following:
