Pins do not get much rarer. When Walt Disney World's Epcot was originally slated to open in 1998, this pin was produced in limited quantities using the true cloisonne process. When it did not open as scheduled and experienced problems when it finally did open to the public (Dec. 19, 1998), this pin was pulled from sale and extremely low quantities where ever sold. There is an identical 1999 version of this pin with only the year being different which is also very scarce. See #777. The 1999 version is synthetic cloisonne. Both pins, being identical, feature Mickey as the central character.
