Released on 16 Aug 2001 at Disneyland, this game card and completer pin were made available to park guests for $10.50. The nine open-edition pins needed to fill in the white circles on the card were sold individually for $6.50/each. They were meant to be bought by parents and used later as awards, when the child had worked to deserve the pin. (Like a Boy Scout badge.) This set was only available at Disneyland, but eight of the nine OE pins had been released the week before at the WDW Pin Celebration PINS AROUND OUR WORLD event at EPCOT. The Best Reader pin is the only one that's different between the parks: DL (Donald) and WDW (Pooh). The OE pins came on a black pin card that said "Kids' Award Pin". The completer pin shown here was not available at WDW.
The Completer pin shown here (below the game logo in the center) features Mickey Mouse offering his right hand to shake the child's hand in congratulations for a job well done. Behind him is a yellow star with a blue center surrounded by firework-like stars. The red scroll banner across the bottom reads MY REWARD PIN.
Awards included Best Behavior, Clean Room, Best Reader, Clean Plate, Super Student, Tooth Brushing, Good Manners, Helping Hand, and Good Sport.
