Mickey's of Glendale has released another in its exclusive ongoing pin series utilizing the sorcerer hat (a symbol for Walt Disney Imagineering) as a blank canvas for creative and unique designs based on Disney parks icons and colors inspired pin designs found in the Disney Parks.
This pin is in the Fourteeneth collection released by WDI in the Sorcerer Hats Mystery Pin Collection, and an exclusive release for the opening of the new feature film, "Pirates of the Caribbean, on Stranger Tides," which was released only to Cast Members and their guests.
Each pin in the collection is sealed in a black plastic bag and sold in a blind box.
This pin features a green Peg Leg Pirate Parrot with a red cloth wrapped around his head under his black with white skull and cross bones pirate hat. He has a black patch over his left eye and yellow beak, which is open as if he is saying: shiver me timbers! On a white patch of feathers on his chest is the tattoo of an anchor. The brim of the hat pin format looks like a white sand beach with seaweed, seashells, and a skull & crossbones in black illustrations. The pirate parrot has his brown wooden right peg leg on the top of the brim of the hat format, and his yellow parrot foot on the white sand beach of the brim. The background of the upper hat format is a pea green with the grey shilouette of a masted sailing ship by an island.
