Mickey's of Glendale has released another in its exclusive ongoing pin series utilizing the sorcerer hat (a symbol for Walt Disney Imagineering) as a blank canvas for creative and unique designs based on Disney parks icons and colors inspired pin designs found in the Disney Parks.
This pin is in the Fourteeneth collection released by WDI in the Sorcerer Hats Mystery Pin Collection, and an exclusive release for the opening of the new feature film, "Pirates of the Caribbean, on Stranger Tides," which was released only to Cast Members and their guests.
Each pin in the collection is sealed in a black plastic bag and sold in a blind box.
This pin features the scene in the POC attraction of the pirate skeleton at the helm of a wrecked pirate ship. His white skeleton with mouth open is standing behind the ship's helm in the middle of the hat pin format with a red ragged head band blowing in the wind along with the red remnants of his clothing also blowing in the wind. There is a black and grey Mickey Icon to his right on the ship's deck. Behind him is a torn white sail on a mast. Above this sail on the mast near the top of the pin is a black with white skull and crossbones pirate flag blowing in the wind. Behind the ship is a dark and stormy lightening lit sky. There is a barrel in front of the helm on the pin's left at and into the edge of the hat pin format's brim. In this brim and into the pin's hat body are waves of the sea in two colors of blue crashing up over the wrecked ship's bow onto the deck.
