Front Description
Exquisite, over-sized metal pin set honors Beauty and the Beast. The four pins depict the film's final stained glass scene of Belle dancing with her prince after his transformation. Belle and the Prince are separate pins which are designed to fit together (his hand is part of her pin and her arm is part of his). When together, Belle and the Prince are approximately 3 1/8" h x 2 1/2 wide.
The enchanted rose (no longer in its dome) and a crown complete the set. The pins have an angular style in keeping with the stained glass image. The little crown even appears to have chips of glass or mosaic in the silver sections. The pins come in a box which is illustrated with the final stained glass window and includes the characters of Belle, the Prince, the now-human servants Cogsworth, Lumiere, Mrs. Potts, Chip, the dog, the maid, as well as the rose and the crown.
The set was available at the DS but is marked as a Disney Gallery piece on the outside cover. It is limited to 5000 pieces. The pins are copyrighted Disney on the back with the edition size.
This set was also released through the Disney Catalog and Online SKU #25357 in April, 2002.
