Front Description
Silver and black, and says "Contact 96 Walt Disney World" on it with a Mickey head surrounded by a circle and stars. This was created for a Sci-fi convention that Walt Disney World was planning on holding in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom back in 1996.
The convention was undersubscribed, so Disney cancelled the full scale convention planned, refunded the attendees' money, and held a smaller one day event.
The nice thing was that along with the refund, the attendees received the merchandise, which included this pin and a watch and other items I'm not sure about. The pin and the watch were available for purchase by the public.
