Front Description
This pin features a multi-plane camera along with Dopey and Doc looking at animation drawings. The multi-plane (also spelled multiplane ) camera was a pivotal technology achievement in the mid-1930s for which Disney holds a number of patients. It provided a depth of field for their animated films that others could not match. The Multi-Plane Camera was first used in the 1937 production of "The Old Mill." The multi-plane camera is one of the outstanding exhibits at the Walt Disney Family Museum.
The Pin Size is approximately 2” x 2”

Two additional items of note: The first is that this pin comes on a standard WDFM card that has a copyright 2009 date on the back of the card. The second is that the post covers for the 2 pins are the Mickey icon type, not the WDFM typical round black rubber covers like that of some of the older Disney pins.
