Front Description
This pin is a prototype of one of the Disneyland trash can pins. It is an almost-identical match to (and most likely the prototype of) Pin 5340: DL - Trash Can Series - Frontierland. The most obvious differences, besides the lack of markings on the back of the pin, are the gray color (vs. the brown of Pin 5340) and the height of the pin which is a mere millimeter or two taller than Pin 5340. The widths of the two pins are identical.
The pin is a gray color paint with gold lines and trim. The trash can opening is hinged so it swings "open and closed."
The back of the pin is a sand-textured gold metal with one pin post and no markings whatsoever.
The pin measures 1 and 1/2" tall by 3/4" wide.
