PP88038    WDW - Orange Bird (Plastic) - With the State of Florida

Front Description

This is a vintage 1970s plastic pin with a brooch-style backing. It is approximately 2 1/8" tall. It looks like it was made at the same time as PinPics #86258.

It features Disney's Florida Orange Bird, who was a beloved character at the Sunshine Pavillion in Adventureland at WDW in the 1970s. He has an orange for his head, and an orange and yellow body. His wings and tail feathers are made of green leaves.

Behind him is a large yellow circle, meant to represent the Florida sun, outlined in orange. The word "Florida" is printed in green in the center of the circle. Below the word, and to the left of Orange Bird, is the state of Florida, which is also orange.
