Front Description
A round pin. Mickey Mouse (center facing left) is dressed in a blue security outfit with his right hand raised in a wave and his left hand in a fist, behind his back. To the left is "1991". Behind him is a white background in a circle. Outside of that circle is a circle of dark blue with "WALT DISNEY WORLD" on the top arch, "SECURITY" on the bottom arch, and a Mickey head icon on either side.
This WDW security lapel pin was used for President George W Bush's visit to EPCOT on 9/30/91. Disney security personnel used it again the following year for another VIP but never used again. It measures 1 inch in diameter and on the back it says, (c) Disney. Extremely rare pin.
In January, 2012, new information was posted in ebay saying that this pin was a "sample/prototype" for Disney security as they were thinking of producing it in four different colors to differentiate between the various Disney security divisions. Possibly 50 - 100 were produced and the pin was never used again. As stated before, this is a RARE pin.
