In 1968 a VW Beetle with the number 53 took the world by storm in the movie The Love Bug. A car with a mind of his own, Herbie raced into the hearts of millions and is now commemorated on this collectible Herbie The Love Bug Pin.
For this Anniversary Disneystore Japan released a series of 110 pins, all limited edition of 110.
Pins were only on sale in the Disneystore at Tokyo Disneyland (Ikspiari) and online on disneystore.co.jp.
The same pin was released in the US as Limited Edition series of 250(see pin 84471). Although the pin looks exactly the same, it has the edition size (110) stamped on the back and comes on a different card then the US version. Silver pin.
