Front Description
Mickey Mouse is featured on this letter R initial, one of a total of 19 pins in a series released for sale in retail locations surrounding the various Disney parks.
Mickey pokes his head through the hole in the letter R; the face is turned left, but he looks downward and to the front. Hands are wrapped around the lower left and upper right sides of the letter, with a shoe shown to the right of the R. In front of Mickey is the letter R with a black outline and fern green and orange pattern of various shapes (almost like a paisley print in its randomness). The metal is silver color.
The pin measures 1 1/4" (32 mm) wide by 1 1/4" (31 mm) tall.
The pin was sold on a 1 3/4" x 3" plastic display card of maroon and black, with the Disney logo on it. The plastic in which the card and pin was displayed has a reference number on the SKU of "#24695R - Mickey Initial Enamel Pin - R." The same SKU is used for all of the pins in the series.
The following alphabet letters were released in this series: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, V and W. According to the distribution company, I, O, Q, U, X, Y and Z were not created for the series.
