PP9073    Gold Coordinator Monorail Wings

Front Description

This pin was developed as a potential costume piece for Walt Disney World Monorail Coordinators. Fifty of the Wings were produced with the intent that they were to be given as awards to top coordinators. Recipients of the award were given one to wear on their costume and another was framed with a certificate of achievement. Also awarded was a curved glass award with the wing design and name of the recipient etched into the glass. Almost every set of wings has been awarded, which leaves virtually none left to enter circulation.

Additional information: The coordinators who received these only got ONE. In the beginning they were allowed to wear them, then that changed. Everyone was asked to return them so they could be framed. During the framing process, the actual pin part was removed and they were glued to the back of the frame. Only about 20 coordinators received them, the rest are unaccounted for.
