Front Description
This hinged compact pin is the Prototype to Pin 37072. Most all of the features are the same except for the obvious pink color inside and outside the entire compact or shell. There are also subtle differences in the purple of Ariel's seashells and the rock and the green shade of her fins. The pink coloring of the metal encompasses all areas that would be silver in the released retail version. Also, one other difference in this pin is the minimal reinforcement on the inside hinges that connect the 3D Ariel center piece. All markings on the back of the pin are identical to the silver version. Because this prototype was created in 2005, it is not marked with "PP".
