What's This? collection was inspired by the lyrics from one of the popular songs in the Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The character seen on the spinning or back piece of this Lanyard Medallion are:
• Ghost - One of a quintet of ghosts who provide a chorus role during musical numbers. According to The Nightmare Before Christmas Trading Card Game, their names are Alberto (a Bass), Pietro (a Baritone), Luciano (a Tenor), Sophia (an Alto), and Maria (a Soprano).
• Mummy Boy - A tiny mummy child with one visible yellow eyeball. He is seen in the company of the Corpse Kid or the Withered Winged Demon. He is also on top of the mayor's car helping him. Mummy is voiced by Sherwood Ball.
• Cyclops - A thin, black, pointy-eared monster with one eye. He looks rather nervous. His voice actor was never credited.
• Corpse Kid - A citizen of Halloween Town. Being dead, he has grey skin, and his eyes are sewn shut.
• Winged Demon - A small, navy blue-ish, batlike demon that walks on its unusually large wings.
#93165 - Pin features the ghost dog Zero with a black cat. On the right side of the pin is the "What's This" collection logo.
#93166 - Lanyard Medallion features Jack Skellington taking the lid off of a jack-o-lantern pumpkin. There are snakes coming out of the pumpkin. Behind Jack is the Barrel Kid and the Mummy. At the bottom of the pin is the "What's This" collection logo.
