Front Description
This is a framed pin set that I purchased at the Disney Gallery on Main Street at the Magic Kingdom at WDW. The set is framed in a black frame and is matted on a pale pink matting. In the middle of the frame there is the main pin. It is of Ann Estelle (from Mary Engelbreit) wearing mouse ears and serving tea to her toy friends Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse. This is a large pin, measuring 3 1/4" by 3 1/4". Ann Estelle is wearing a red jumper, black shirt and tights, and yellow mary janes. She is holding Mickey's hand and he is standing, and she is also pouring tea for Minnie, who is sitting in a very decorative blue chair next to a decorative little table. The table has a fnacy tablecloth on it and a little teaset and a cake plate filled with all sorts of goodies to eat. All over the wood floor are toys - a wind-up duck. a polka-dotted red ball, a set of jacks, a blue ball with white stars on it, and a little Scottie-dog pull toy. There are also two pots of flowers and a watering can on the floor. In the background there is a white lattice with vines of flowers growing on it. Above that is written in red: TEA for THREE with M.E.'s cherries , a teapot, and "fried egg flowers" adorning the lettering. The Mickey and Minnie Dolls are vintage - they look like the ones in the M.E./Disney pin #Pin 1077: Mary Engelbreit Tea for Three - retired, and Ann Estelle looks the same also. This pin is set against a black background with little white dots that is bordered with colorful flowers. The pink matting goes around all this and the corners aer cut out into the matting allowing for the four additional pins to be put into each corner - it is as if a circle has been cut out of the matting for them. The additional pins are a bunch of three cherries with bright grren leaves, a pink teapot with flowers on it, two flowers bunched together - one magenta and one white, and a Scottie dog pull toy (he is grey with a red and white plaid sweater and is on a green platform with orange wheels). These for pins are all featured in the main pin. The frame is 11 1/2" by 11 1/2 ".
