Front Description
Captain Mickey Mouse is one of a series of 2 1/2" plastic pins released by Monogram Products in the 1980s.
Mickey is shown as head only, facing left, with mouth open and red tongue showing, black eyed.He wears a captain's uniform hat / cap in white with blue stripe and sparkling gold trim. Behind him, all in gold which sparkles, is a large anchor. Behind that is a red background and a blue rope-like border around the top and two sides of the round pin design. The actual pin is in white plastic with black detail.
The pin measures just under 2 1/2" (61 mm). It has a straight back with J-clasp glued on with a square plastic block to hold it in place. The reverse reads "THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY, MFG BY, MONOGRAM PRODUCTS, INC.. LARGO, FLORIDA 34645, MADE IN ST. LUCIA."
