Front Description
This pin is almost triangular in shape. Its corners are rounded by a bright silver thorny bramble that encirlces the outer edge. At the top in white letters is the "Disneyland(c)Resort" logo. The background is a metallic red. In the foreground standing from the waist up with arms raised upwards and hands open palms out is "Hades" from the 1997 Disney feature film "Hercules" in his grey robe and flaming blue hair. His expression is one of open mouth glee.
The stenciled element at the top of the pin is covered by some sort of lucite/plastic-like coating that covers the pin.
The back of the pin has a silver-finished Mickey icon waffle pattern which runs off the edge with no border along the edge. There are two posts, aligned horizontally near the top of the pin. No nubs.
There are 2 two boxes in the center underneath the two posts. The first has the Official 2012 Pin Trading logo, and below that in the 2nd box it has: SURPRISE PIN, Limited Edition 500, ©Disney

The pin measures approx. 1 3/4" x 1 5/8" at its widest places.
