Front Description
One of nine pins from the 2013 Friendship Boats set of Hidden Mickey pins that was released in Wave A at Walt Disney World. The cut-out pins look like the eight Friendship boats which run between EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, stopping at the resorts (Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan and Dolphin) between the two parks. The boats face right, showing windows on the fronts and sides. There are black and white stripes around the bottom of each boat. From there up, it’s the same design with a different color on the trim of each pin. The small Hidden Mickey icon is on the front of each boat, on the white stripe near the bottom. Pins were originally only available by trading with a cast member. In July 2013, pouches containing two random 2013 Hidden Mickey pins were available to purchase for $10.95.
This pin features Friendship VIII, colored in blue and yellow.
The eight common pins include Friendship I (pink/blue), Friendship II (aqua/purple), Friendship III (blue/red), Friendship IV (yellow/orange), Friendship V (pink/aqua), Friendship VI (red/aqua), Friendship VII (aqua/red), and Friendship VIII (blue/yellow). An uncolored Friendship boat is featured on the silver Chaser pin.
