This pin originally came in a frame set that was divided into 4 illustrated comic book "panels", one for each hero. The Superman pin was in the top left hand corner and showed Superman, illustrated in classic comic book form, flying above the Daily Planet building in Metropolis. There is a cartoon word bubble having Superman say: "This is a job for...Superman!"

(Batman, "...to the Batcave!" is shown in Gotham City. The Bat Signal, Batmobile and Robin are seen in the panel. Wonder Woman, "Now I'm ready for action!" is shown high above her invisible jet in the sky. The Flash, "Time for take off!" is shown running alongside a speeding train.)

The black frame measures 8 1/4 inches wide x 6 5/8 inches high and has a fold out stand on the back.

The Superman pin measures about 1 5/8" high.
