Front Description
This pin purchased at the Walt Disney Studios in Burbank at the DEC features Mickey Mouse as an artist painting color into a drawing of Donald Duck, which is mounted on a grey animation easel table. Mickey in full color is standing to the right of this table with a can of brushes at his feet in front of the table. A brown artist's palate with various colored paint patches is also on the floor to the left of the can and a brown stool is to the left of that. Just behind the stool at the table's back left corner is a full color Donald Duck striking a fancy pose. Behind him to the left is Pluto's dog bone and to the right is a full color Pluto leaning on the back of Mickey's artist's table looking at the sketch of Donald. To the right of Pluto behind Mickey is a full color Goofy tipping his hat to Mickey's talent as an artist.
The background is a maroon color and on the wall in the upper left corner is a framed sign in black letters that reads: "Walt Disney Studios MICKEY MOUSE."
The pin back has two posts mounted vertically at the top and bottom on a silver DS logo pattern that runs off the edges. In the middle it has the DS Official logo that says "Genuine, Original, Authentic" in a circle around the name "DS." To the right of that is the Official Pin Trading logo, but without a year stamped into it. Below this is a box with "(c)Disney China."
The pin is approximately a square but measures 1 7/8" high x 2" wide. It is mounted on a large Walt Disney Studios backer card with the DS logo on it.
